There is an urgent and ongoing need for long-term missionaries in the Arab world. Millions of people have little to no access to the gospel, and yet the number of workers willing (and prepared) to go remains low. While many people carry a heart for the region, few actually make the decision to move long-term.
It’s clear, there is a need to mobilize missionaries to the field.
Pioneers will equip and empower you to go! To go well, to be supported and to be ready to thrive in long-term, cross-cultural missions among unreached people in the Arab world. Pioneers is a school for those who are willing to count the cost, embrace challenge, and say yes to God’s call to the nations.

Course overview
6 months – Training & Outreach
Learn from missionaries on the field. Learn what has worked and what didn’t from people who have been doing missions overseas for years.
You’ll get exposed to long-term missions through lectures, assignments, small groups, ministry programs, evangelism, and many other ways.

The SOM will run:
16 September 2026 – 11 March 2027
Application Fee: 60€
Training phase: 2400€
– includes tuition, accommodation, meals and study material
(there may be additional costs for a visa, up to 149€, depending on nationality)
Scouting trip: 500€ – 700€
– includes a scouting/faith trip: airfares, ground transport, accommodation, meals, visas and outreach materials
– does not include travel insurance, vaccinations, or personal spending money
Outreach phase: 2800€ – 3500€
